WHO ARE WE?

Camp Refuge is a summer camp for students that have finished the 6th-12th grade. This will be our 11th year in existence, and God has done some amazing things in lives of students through this camp. Our hope is that all who come would be affected and changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus.

Drew Humphrey
Speaker

Drew Humphrey is the college pastor at Highland Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, where he has been serving on staff for the last 14 years. He and his wife Holly have seen God build their family of 6 through fostering, adoption, and biological children. Drew loves to serve in the local church and is passionate about foster care, worship, and ministry to students.

Sydney Escamilla
Worship Leader

Helping others see the beauty and person of Jesus Christ through music; this is what Houston-based songwriter and worship leader Sydney Escamilla has felt called to with his life. Striving for an incredible yet simple sound, Sydney leads worship with open authenticity, inviting others to experience the genuine adoration, wonder, and freedom of the name Jesus.
